Project Bob provisional dates for this term

posted 7 Jan 2014, 02:30 by Matthew Ferrier
The provisional dates for this term's Project Bob riding sessions have been added to the public calendar. Events kick off next week with the second session for Lions and Panthers which was postponed from before the holiday. Sessions for pupils in Year 3 and 4 classes start later on this month and Jaguars and Cougars will have the chance to participate in their second session later on in the term.
Children who wish to take part are asked to bring a roadworthy bike and helmet to their riding sessions. These can be left in the fenced area outside Harriers classroom. John and Neil usually bring three or four bikes with them to enable pupils who would like to participate but do not currently have a roadworthy bike to do so.
In addition to the class riding sessions we are planning to schedule a couple of Learn To Ride sessions for those children in KS2 who cannot ride a bike. These were a great success last term. Please ask your child to talk to Mr Ferrier if they feel that they would like to attend one of these sessions.
