Stranger Danger - Raising Awareness

posted 8 Sep 2014, 06:04 by Wendy James
Dear Parents

Please be aware that on Friday 5th in the morning, two unaccompanied children were approached on Salehurst Road by an man in a car on their way to Broke Hall Primary School. He called them over and offered them a lift to school.

They wisely didn't accept his offer and told the school on their arrival. The school have informed the police.

This morning I delivered age-appropriate "Stranger Danger" assemblies to all children in KS1 & KS2. I have added a copy of my assembly slideshow to the school website under Parents Area - Safety for your information. Please reinforce this message with your children at home.

Thank you.
