Pupil Premium

"Pupil Premium" is a sum of money paid annually to schools for every pupil who is eligible for Free School Meals (FSMs) or has been eligible in the past 6 years.

The Department for Education do not know which children are eligible for FSMs unless their parents apply successfully for FSM funding. Applying for FSMs does not mean that your child has to have school dinners but it does mean that the school will receive Pupil Premium funding for your child if you successfully apply.

Please click here to see if your child(ren) may be eligible. If you meet the criteria, please speak to Mrs Holman in the school office.

Attached is a document that explains how the school uses its Pupil Premium funding to narrow the attainment gap between children eligible for FSM and those who are not.
